Cats, Casseroles and Controversy On Radio National

On Friday 19 May, 2017, I popped in to Radio National Drive for the ‘My Feed’ segment. I spoke to host Jonathan Green (filling in for Patricia Karvelas) about three topics of interest on my social media feed that week: the Twitter account Is A Cat In The Sink; how Benjamin Law’s journey¬†into culinary whiteness provoked questions about the difference between a stew and a casserole; and Alex Tizon’s controversial, posthumous essay for The Atlantic, ‘My Family’s Slave’.
